Kathy T. Evans-Davis has 20 years of professional experience, including 15 years of technical writing,
10 years of government intelligence analysis and foreign language intelligence analysis and
reporting, two years of project management and database management, three years of education
and training course management, and over 10 years of supervisory experience. I have remarkable
interpersonal skills and is a meticulous administrator. My exceptional writing ability emphasizes
correct grammar usage and phraseology.

As a Senior Technical Writer, I independently write and edit company and contractual
documentation including proposals, resumes, technical, and program documentation. I serve as an
integral part of the software development process and write and edit program deliverable
documentation including:  Work Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices, Developmental Test and
Evaluation Plans, Deployment Plans, Software Version Descriptions, Software Installation Plans, and
New Employee Orientation Manuals.

I also author Software User Manuals and Online Help Tools.  As a documentation specialist, I am
familiar with the CMMI processes and the aspects of document control. I am proficient with Proposal
Coordination and  writing proposals for major government contracts.

As a Project Manager, I develop and maintain project schedules, including task assignment, tracking
progress, and resolution of problems. I provide technical leadership for the tasks and author and
manage development of all project deliverables. I serve as cost account manager (CAM) for projects
and ensure that the designated engineering processes are followed, and that the work products
defined by the engineering process are created, reviewed, and approved. Additionally, I identify risks
that could potentially affect project performance.   

I demonstrate excellent analytical skills and problem solving abilities. As an Education and Training
Course Manager, schedule, supervise, administer, and coordinate instructor-led, computer-based,
and Web-based courses.

As a News Anchor, Audio Visual Technician, and Production Assistant, I research, write, and report
news stories for news broadcasts. I determine the editorial content of material.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications at the University of Montevallo,
Montevallo, Alabama, and am an active member of the Society for Technical Communication (STC),
Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD Chapters. I am currently pursuing certification in technical
writing from James Madison University.
